Greenville SC HUD Foreclosure Homes for Sale - Greater Greenville HUD Foreclosed Properties - Upstate South Carolina Government owned Homes

HUD foreclosure homes for sale on the Greater Greenville SC real estate market are normally offered at great prices. HUD homes are homes with FHA insured mortgages that are acquired by the US Government's department of Housing and Urban Development because of a foreclosure. These homes then become Government Greater_Greenville_SC_HUD_Homesowned homes, and HUD then offers these homes for sale. They initially give owner occupant home buyers a seven day priority period to bid on each new property listing or after a price reduction. Once this priority period is over, it is then opened up to all bidders including investors.

Although Greater Greenville SC HUD homes for sale are listed in the Multiple Listing System (MLS), you need a HUD approved broker to submit a bid on any of these homes. The bid is submitted online, and if it is during the owner occupant priority period, your Greenville SC HUD approved broker will be notified the day after the bid deadline if you had the winning bid. If the home is available to all bidders, the bid deadline is at midnight everyday and the winner is notified the day after. If your bid is accepted, your agent will have 48 hours to send original contract documents to the HUD's representativen along with a copy of your earnest money.

Search Upstate area HUD Homes for Sale

The link above takes you to HUD representative HMBI's website, where you can browse HUD homes by City, browse by County, by zip code, or by price range. Once you find a home you like, you can view the property condition report for that home. Although this property condition report is not a warranty by HUD of the condition of the home, it does give you an idea of what is wrong with a HUD home before you make a bid. These homes are sold as-is. If you decide to purchase one of these homes, I still recommend that you have the home inspected by a professional home inspector. Having a home inspection is one of the critical steps to purchasing a Greenville SC foreclosed property.

We are a HUD approved broker, and can show and help you purchase any HUD home for sale in Greenville, Simpsonville, Greer, Taylors, Mauldin, Fountain Inn, Easley, Travelers Rest, Piedmont or any other surrounding Upstate area. I am available anytime to answer your questions, contact me at 864-525-0201.
